Panama City Real Estate | Market update May
Posted by Jennifer Mackay.com on Monday, June 7th, 2010 at 7:15am.I've just posted a Panama City Real Estate market update for the month of May, 2010. In addition my monthly Panama City Real Estate market report is available for download as well.
A few interesting things to note regarding last months numbers:
Panama City Condo sales fell slightly as well as the average condo price. However, non condo residential sales rose slightly following slight decreases in home prices.
This may not only be due to the new airport, but also the Oil Spill may have kept many who were considering purchasing homes or condos in Panama City, Florida to wait until the crisis is over.

Aloha Jennifer, hopefully transactions will start picking up soon. How much has your shoreline been affected by the Oil Spill and what long-term effects are experts projecting?

Jennifer...nice work on the market update report. We do something very similar up here for the Hilton Head Real Estate market and our customers and clients really get a lot of value from it.

Good effort. Real Estate is having a big part on the business world, on real estate, selling is not as easy as eating peanuts, you need to have the guts, proper marketing and being honest on what you are selling but definitely real estate is really a great investment because it gives a lot of opportunity.Brainard Ridge Realty is a full-service real estate brokerage and development company, specializing in Timberframe and Custom Log Homes.

Thanks for the replies and comments.
Jb, welcome to the site. California was hit by an oil spill many years ago in Santa Barbara and recovered very well.
Thanks Bill, I'll be sure to check out your update soon
Vancouver, it's a crazy market what can I say

Weird that condo prices and prices are dropping while house sales are going up, one would think that people would be downsizing and moving from houses to apartments. Great update and post.
