greatest real estate agent in the world - honest and ethicalI’ve talked about advertising, marketing, Investments and technology but there is one topic and trait I think above all that allows the “Greatest Real Estate Agent in the World” to standout from the crowd.

And that is…

Honesty and ethics - I believe these traits set the “Greatest real estate agent in the world” apart and above other agents. The ability to be honest and allow their morals and ethics to guide them in their business dealings with other professionals, provides the agent with the very highest of standards and service!

It proves to others that this person is not only trustworthy and ethical, but can be depended on to fulfill their obligations using the highest standards. Also, honesty and integrity are contagious!

Honesty and ethics are not simply words to be passed out like business cards. They are the foundation of how we are peceived on a daily basis to our peers and professional associates.

As I learn more and more about the real estate business, I come in contact with many professionals in various industries that also support the real estate business.

In every dealing I have with every person with which I am in contact during my daily activities, I strive to exemplify these traits.

When dealing not only with clients and customers but also with other real estate agents as well as the supporting professionals such as Loan offices, builders, contractors, developers etc., the greatest real estate agent in the world must exemplify high moral and ethical behavior.

Treating people respectfully, honestly and with consideration not only brings me ever closer to that lofty goal of being the “Greatest Real Estate Agent in the World” but also of being the “greatest professional person in the world”.

Great post Jennifer! One thing that I notice is that some agents are constantly trying to invent ways to cut their office out of the agreed commission split. Agents need to understand that to be ethical they have an obligation to every entity involved - including their office and hard working staff!
