Understanding Investments

Panama City Beach Real EstateSo far we’ve discussed marketing and advertising both of which are very important aspects for every real estate agent.

Another job of a real estate agent may be to assist their customers with their long and short term investment strategy. For me, it is also one of the most rewarding aspects of being a real estate agent.

So…

Investment foresight – I believe another strong trait is the ability to discern, understand and educate a customer on which properties make the strongest case for their investment strategy.

Many people who invest in real estate may only purchase a single property in their lifetime; the home in which they live. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this and for these real estate buyers it will be the most expensive investment they will make in their lifetimes.

It is important to understand, that the purchase of ones primary residence is the best way to start a real estate investment strategy.

Once this initial investment is made it then opens the door for those so inclined, to becoming an active real estate investor. Using the equity of a primary residence is for many a first step towards financial independence using real estate as their tool of choice.

Being able to judge a properties investment potential and relaying that knowledge and information to a customer or client in my opinion is another goal for the “Greatest Real Estate Agent in the World“.

Calculating rates of return, Gross Rent Multipliers, Potential Gross Income, cash flow and other variables as well as understanding how these variables affect the purchase of a customers or clients real estate purchase is an invaluable tool for every real estate agent!

As an active real estate investor and agent, I see this task as one of the most fulfilling for me personally. I obtain great satisfaction when I am able to provide my customers with investment knowledge they can use as they set in motion their goal for financial independence.

As real estate agents cultivate these traits it brings them ever closer to becoming the “Greatest Real Estate Agent in the World“.
