Panama City Real Estate - Sheila a rescued dogHello everyone,

I’d like to make you all aware of an event that is close to my heart.

This Friday (August 1st, 2008), the world famous Club La Villa in Panama City Beach, Florida will be hosting a charity event to benefit the Panama City Humane Society’s shelter.

All proceeds will assist the society in remaining open and “destroy” free.

I urge everyone, even if you are not able to attend the event to please donate something to the society. Every little bit helps and no donation is too small.Panama City Real Estate - Duchess a rescued dog

Here are pictures of my 2 rescued friends, Sheila the Sheltie (top) and Duchess the “princess”.

Over the past 20 years, Jessie and I have only owned rescued pets from shelters.

While several of our pets have required special assistance in adjusting to our home, we have found each to be loving, faithful friends.

Thank you all for taking the time to read this, and offering any assistance for which you are able to contribute.

    These dogs look precious, they are lucky to have found nice homes in Panama City. Hope all is well with you!

    I am glad to see you do your part in caring for animals that have gotten a bad rap in life. I was wondering how the fund raising event went?

    I am curious to know how things are fairing up North of Panama City. So, Jennifer is right on.

    Things went very well. So well in fact they held another just last weekend.

    Unfortunately/fortunately, I was at Mega Camps in Austin and didn’t have to post the event.
