That looks like a great property. I was down in panama city in the later 90s and the whole place looks different now.

How has this worked out for you in the past? Have you done many auctions?

Long time no talk Thanks for the comment.

In some ways it has worked out very well.

I have attended several auctions: some on behalf of bidding clients and some as an observer both with and without a client present.

While none of my customers actually purchased at the auctions, they did bid and found the event both entertaining and informative.

Needless to say, even though they didn’t have the winning bid at the auction, I did manage to find them exactly the type of investment for which they were looking.

Not only that, but they got it for less then the one they bid on at the auction!

Hi Jennifer,

I was not surprised to read your responce that you have been able to find people better deals outside of the auction process. That fits very well with my experence in buying homes through auctions as well. I have purchased homes though foreclosure auction as well as buying similar homes on the open market, listed by REALTOR and in every case have felt like I got bid up just a little to much as compaired to what I could get that is similar listed in the MLS.

Yes,

Over 30 have sold, with 2 bedrooms going for as low as $205,000.

I was reading last Sundays paper (11/23) and noticed another condo in P.C.B. having an auction of foreclosures (soon).
Do you have any info on this that you could pass on ?
