Panama City Real Estate - Market Summary for September

I’ve recently added another Panama City Real Estate market summary for last month, September 2008.
While not the best month we’ve had this year, it does show that our market remains active and inventories are leveling out.
What this means to sellers: There are less properties on the market for you to compete with when selling your home. While it is always advisable to make sure your property is priced correctly, as inventories decline there should be more buyers. Unfortunately, with the current state of the economy, this may not necessarily be the case as lenders making it more difficult to obtain mortgage loans in some cases.
What this means to buyers: There are not as many deals as in previous months. When homes are priced correctly and inventories are moving, sellers are less likely to offer incentives. While this is not necessarily the case currently, as time progresses and inventories continue to decline, you may see less incentives.
