Going, Going, Gone….
Well it was quite an auction!
Condos which previously sold for more than $500,000 were selling around $200,000! Now that’s quite a deal.
The deal of the day thought, IMO was an effeciency which I believe went for $50,000!
Three-bedroom condo units sold for about $270,000 and 2 bedrooms were selling around $200,000.
Granted, Origins is not gulf front but it is directly across the street which lovely gulf views. Whether this trend will continue is anyones guess at the moment.
However, the real estate auction opportunities are obviously alive and well in Panama City Beach Florida.

I am annoyed with myself, I should have been there, I mean it’s really surprising to hear that a condo that worth $500,000 sold for only $200,000, I am really feeling bad.
Seeing these fire-sale prices for condos is very disturbing. I hope real estate pricing stabilize soon.
That is pretty interesting. We have a number of condos in Austin that are moving pretty slow. We have not had any auctions yet but that would be kind of nice to get a pretty nice condo for 40% of the previous price. Did any of these condos have views?

Some of the condos did have views and some did not. However, even without a view and being across the street from the Gulf of Mexico these were incredible deals.
