You may remember during the KW Red Day event, my office and I went to a local children’s home sponsored by the Children’s Home Society of Florida, to help with landscaping, painting and other home repair projects.
Last night, Jessie and I had the pleasure of attending a wonderful benefit event again for the Children’s Home Society of Florida.
The benefit was held at the Majestic Towers resort in Panama City Beach, Florida and raised funds for the Children’s Home Society of Florida. All the proceeds from the event went to the Children’s Home Society.
Chef Richard Florczak was the guest/chef of honor and performed a cooking demonstration for the guests.
In addition, about 20 local restaurants offered their fare to the event and the attendees. Jessie of course went straight for the Sushi provided by Kobe Steak House, of course I was right behind him all the way
I had the pleasure of tasting some wonderful dishes from the restaurants and my favorite was a Ceviche from Antojito’s Mexican restaurant.
Established in 1902, Children’s Home Society of Florida (CHS) is one of Florida’s oldest private not-for-profit organizations providing services to children and families.
Children’s Home Society of Florida estimates it serves one child in every classroom in Bay and the surrounding counties. That’s about twenty-five-hundred every year!
Personally, I had no idea there were that many children in the immediate area in need.
For more information on how you can help visit the Children’s Home Society of Florida website or contact my Keller Williams Success Realty office directly (850) 392-1700.
