Freeport and the price of a condo

We spent Monday at sea and had a great time.
I entered Jessie and myself in a Newlywed game (the second time we did this) and the cruise director had a lot of fun with Jessie. In fact, the whole ship had a lot of fun with both of us the remainder of the cruise thanks to that darn game
The food on the ship was nothing special, but it was freestyle. If you haven’t done a freestyle cruise, I highly suggest your try it. You can eat when you want in one of several dining areas. You do not have to plan your cruise day around meal times, and it was a great experience.
Here are some pictures of a line dancing class I took:
Tuesday we landed in Freeport and went in search of condo prices. Just as we figured, the prices were extremely high for a waterfront condo.
So far, Panama City Florida still has the best prices!
Wednesday we landed in Nassau. Jessie and I found a Fort and a pirate museum and had a great day. Lots of shopping through out Nassau but we weren’t there for shopping
There were a lot of empty commercial retail spaces available in Nassau and it seemed the economy had hit there very hard as well.
We stopped in to an estate agents office and found out why there were so many empty retail stores… They’re very expensive to lease and the economy is very dependent on the U.S. tourism market which is suffering greatly during our economic depression as you may imagine.
Here are some pictures from Freeport and Nassau for your enjoyment of the pirate museum:
Next we have some ship and shore photos of Freeport, Nassau and the Norwegian Sky:
More to come…

Looks like you had an enjoyable trip.
Yes, we had a great trip and also networked with some wonderful agents abroad.
Can’t wait until our next trip!
