While sales and prices were slightly higher than last January, single family home prices slipped slightly last month.

As we near the start of the busiest real estate season as well as opening day of the new airport we expect to see significant increases in sales and prices for all property types.

We are already experiencing higher than average volumes of visitors to the Panama City real estate website, as well as higher than normal rental inquiries.

Jen, where I live and sell in Jupiter, Florida the rental homes are flying off the shelf. It is getting tot he point where you put it in MLS and it is gone the next day, unless it’s a dog! It really reminds me of how the home sales market was back in 2005. Are you seeing the same thing in Panama City for rentals?

RE Webmaster does a good job…always have such good looking websites…yours is no exception!

Hopefully the numbers keep going up. I can def. see an increase in the Fort Worth Tx market as more and more buyers are starting to buy.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting DJ – while the homes are not necessarily “flying off the shelf”, we are very busy and way ahead of our sales from last year.
    Best wishes

    Ashlee,

I’m Glad to hear your market is on the rebound as well.

It’s a great time to buy for those that need/want a home. They have to hurry though, because the tax break may end soon if no extension is forthcoming.

    Best wishes.
