The team and I have been getting a significant number of phone calls and emails from all over the world regarding the oil spill.
From these phones it appears, that there are quite a few real estate agents trying to dissuade potential real estate investors and buyers from purchasing in the Panama City, Florida.
One customer stated a real estate agent from Florida told them: “Oil has washed up on the beaches of Panama City and will be years before it is clean again.”
This statement could not be farther from the truth.
Please, agents from other parts of the country… If you don’t know what is occurring in the Panama City Beach, Florida area - Don’t make it up – here are the facts you can pass along to your customers…
Here then is the latest imagery from ROFFS™:

This imagery is from the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory Saturday that clearly shows that the oil is being pulled southeastward towards the Loop Current
This is mainly a result of the large counter-clockwise eddy located top center of the image just south west of Panama City Florida (Arrows pointing southwest in a circular motion).

I was wondering how the oil was effecting real estate down there. Thanks for letting us all know. I know with owning a condo, if I were there, I would panic too!
Hello Joyyce,
You’re most welcome.
So far our beaches are not directly affected by the oil spill so send us your referrals and we’ll take very good care of them.
Best wishes
As far as Panama City Beach is concerned, we still have no oil here, and frankly our waters are looking amazing right now.
Bay County has been preparing for the worst. With over 28,000 feet of boom already deployed in Bay County with more on the way. As far as the effectiveness of the boom, pray for calm seas.
Hello Kristain,
We’re watching the oil spill closely as well, while conducting business as usual.
Best wishes
