Hi Alex, I certainly agree that going outside ones comfort during these tough economic times may be prudent, as long as one educates themselves so their comfort zone is expanded. However in my opinion, going outside your geographic area is not the same and is detrimental to the customer. As I stated in the article, no I do not sell Destin real state - I refer it to more qualified local agents who can provide the service needed for my customer. Times are tough and agents have to go outside of their comfort area. But leaving their geographic area doesn’t serve their clients and their best interests. Would YOU take clients to purchase in Destin?

AMEN!! I have buyers ask me the same thing. I always tell them I wouldn’t be doing them service if I tried to sell them in PCB…I don’t know it well enough. I’d be happy to send you any referrals.
