From these phones it appears, that there are quite a few real estate agents trying to dissuade potential real estate investors and buyers from purchasing in the Panama City, Florida.

One customer stated a real estate agent from Florida told them: “Oil has washed up on the beaches of Panama City and will be years before it is clean again.”

This statement could not be farther from the truth.

Here then is the latest imagery from ROFFS™:

This imagery is from the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory Saturday that clearly shows that the oil is being pulled southeastward towards the Loop Current

This is mainly a result of the large counter-clockwise eddy located top center of the image just south west of Panama City Florida (Arrows pointing southwest in a circular motion).

Well it was quite an auction!

Condos which previously sold for more than $500,000 were selling around $200,000! Now that’s quite a deal.

The deal of the day thought, IMO was an effeciency which I believe went for $50,000!

Three-bedroom condo units sold for about $270,000 and 2 bedrooms were selling around $200,000.

Granted, Origins is not gulf front but it is directly across the street which lovely gulf views. Whether this trend will continue is anyones guess at the moment.

However, the real estate auction opportunities are obviously alive and well in Panama City Beach Florida.

Condos were sold ranging in price from:

4 bedrooms – $ $305,00 (+10% buyers premium) – $380,000

The magic sale occurred for the 2 bedroom units which went for $205,000 (+10% buyers premium). This price point is pretty much where I thought they might sell. But, you never know.

This week several of my customers are closing on Aqua Condo units, Calypso units and  Sunbird units.

What this verifies is there are still many Panama City condo opportunities available at fair prices.

So if you’re sitting on the fence waiting for that ultimate price reduction, you may be waiting a very long time and possibly may miss some good investment opportunities entirely.

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again: If you’re waiting for the Panama City – Bay County Airport to open before purchasing vacation or investment property, you will have waited too long!

Originally, these units were priced ranging from $534,500 for a two-bedroom unit up to $917,000 for a three-bedroom end unit. Penthouse units on the 15th and 16th floors ranged from $764,000 to $2.09 million.

With amenities such as: tiled entryways and living rooms, granite kitchen counter tops and stainless steel appliances, window walls with spectacular water views and spacious balconies.

The auction will be open to the public and held June 26 at Marina Landing with no minimum bid required. However, buyers wishing to participate must register in advance and bring secure deposits on the day of the event.

Two-bedroom, two-bath condos, require 10 percent down with $25,000 per condo being in certified funds, personal or company check. The three-bedroom, three-bath condos requirement is 10 percent down with $35,000 per unit being in certified funds, personal or company check. Closing on all sales must occur in 30 days.

Pre-sale inspections will occur beginning Thursday, with properties available for viewing daily by appointment from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
