The Panama City – Bay County International airport in the news…
Yesterday I posted a link to an interview I did about the economical impact the new Panama City Airport will have on our area.
In another article, Pat Kelly of the News Herald reports on the progress and movement of various occupants over to the new terminal and airport.
Space also is being allocated for a Bay County Chamber of Commerce Business Center and the Bay County Tourist Development Council, said Randy Curtis, executive director of the Panama City-Bay County International Airport, which is moving its operations to the new site.

Florida real estate | Panama City Airport update
Recently the St. Joe company entered into agreement with two firms to develop approximately 1,000 acres located next to the new Panama City – Bay County International Airport.
The two company’s: The Haskell Company, America’s Green Design-Build Leader, and TranSystems Corporation, one of the world’s leading transportation planning and engineering firms, are to master plan JOE land adjacent to the new Airport.
The development is being positioned for office, retail and industrial users.

We’re moving ahead!
A recent article published in the Newsherald by Pat Kelly, reports the developer for the existing Panama City airport has opened their office in Panama City.
The new international airport is still on schedule (actually ahead of schedule by a few months).

Panama City Real Estate – PFN – Panama City-Bay County airport update
For those visitors and customers who have inquired regarding updates to the Panama City – Bay County International airport, a new video is available provided by the Panama City Airport Authority and Greg Wineman.
Included in the update are:
- Civil contracts
- Terminal and support building contracts
- Utility contracts
The airport is coming along nicely and approximately 3 1/2 months ahead of schedule.
