Here’s some summer fun:

The 52^nd Annual Panhandle Watermelon Festival will take place in Chipley, Florida on June 27 and 28.

The weekend festival begins on Friday, June 27 at the Northwest Florida Campground on Griffin Road in Chipley and features award-winning country group Shenandoah former lead singer Marty Raybon.

In addition, Grand Ole Opry star and country music legend John Conlee appears at the Saturday show at 2PM at the Washington County Agriculture Center located on Highway 90.

Panama City Beach - Pier Park and Express Shuttle

An update for my friends, condo owners and vacationers in Panama City Beach, FL…

Panama City Beach will begin offering express shuttles to Pier Park next weekend.

The shuttle will run an East-west shuttle service using two Bay Town Trolley vehicles (with a third in reserve) and will drop off in Pier Park at a specially designed turnaround on the north side of the Grand Theaters.

The system will operate from 10 a.m. to midnight each Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with scheduled stops every 30 minutes.

Great day at the Easter Egg hunt… Panama City Real Estate

panama city real estate easter egg hunt Well, I had a great day at the Keller Williams Annual Easter Egg hunt!

While we got off to shaky start, I think those of us that volunteered to help out, pulled together nicely to give the kids a fun day (at least once we got the grill started)!

The children seemed to enjoy the games, the hunt and of course the hot dogs and hamburgers.

Brooke did a great job with her karaoke version of “Black Velvet”, and even some of the children had a go at the mic

Panama City Real Estate - Dolphins If you’re a scuba diver one interesting site to see is available in one of Panama City Beach Florida’s Underwater Archaeological Preserves.

The SS Tarpon, an ocean-going vessel that now lies beneath the sea near Panama City Beach is a divers delight. These preserves, or underwater parks, feature shipwrecks and other sunken historic sites.

The SS Tarpon ended her career on Sept. 1, 1937, when weather ended her trip. Laden with flour, sugar, canned goods, iron, beer and barrels of fuel oil, the Tarpon’s freeboard, or distance between the waterline and deck, measured less than 5 inches
