There are always plenty of events and things to do in Panama City Florida. Besides the many fine dining establishments, going to the beach, fishing or relaxing at one of several local parks and recreation areas.

While properties continue to be listed and sold, many of you have asked “When is the right time to buy?”

The answer to that question is as always: “Now is the right time to buy.”

Why?

Because if you need a home, it doesn’t matter what the economy is doing: You still need a place to live.

The story:

Unknown to me at the time, one of my customers submitted an entry on my behalf to RISMedia’s Top 50 Realtors on the Rise for 2008. I believe this occurred in the beginning of this year.

I hadn’t found out about this entry, until 2 months ago when I was contacted by RISMedia that I had been selected as one of the Top 50 Realtors on the Rise for 2008!

Panama City Real Estate - First time home buyers tax credit

If you are first time home buyer, this may be of special interest to you.

On July 30, 2008 President Bush signed housing bill H.R. 3221 into law.

What this bill is:

Basically, this bill provides a temporary “tax credit” for first time home buyers. Please note that this “tax credit” is unlike most other “tax credits” and must be payed back over 15 years with interest.

Please confirm all tax changes and eligibility requirements with a qualified tax professional prior to making any tax related purchases.
